The 10 commandments of
Ecology
|
I |
You shall love the Lord, your God, and all
things as yourself. |
II |
You shall not defend nature in vain, not
suiting the action to the word. |
III |
You shall preserve the virgin forests as
your life depends on them. |
IV |
You shall honor the fauna and flora, all
kinds of life, not only human. |
V |
You shall not murder. |
VI
|
You shall not sin against air
pureness, allowing industry to pollute what children breathe. |
VII
|
You shall not steal the humus layer of the
earth, ploughing it, condemning the soil to barrenness. |
VIII
|
You shall not bare false witness, affirming
profits and progress justify your crimes. |
IX
|
You shall not wish, on your own advantage,
that springs and rivers be poisoned by industrial garbage. |
X
|
You shall not lust for objects and ornaments
which production requires landscape destruction: The Earth also belongs to the ones yet to
come. |
